Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Internet Deals Help (“we”, “us”, this site) collects when you visit internetdealshelp.com, why we collect it, who else receives it, and the choices you have. We have tried to write it in ordinary language rather than legal boilerplate. If anything here is unclear, please ask us through the contact page.

Information we collect

Information you give us voluntarily

If you send us a message through our contact form, we receive the name, email address and message content you choose to provide. We use that information solely to reply to you and to keep a record of the correspondence. We do not add contact-form submitters to a marketing list, and we do not sell or rent this information to anyone.

If you leave a comment on an article, WordPress stores the comment text, the name and email address you supply, your IP address and your browser user-agent string. This is standard WordPress behavior and helps with spam detection. Comment data and its metadata are retained indefinitely so that follow-up comments can be recognized automatically rather than held in a moderation queue.

Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, our servers and our analytics provider automatically record certain technical information when you load a page. This typically includes your IP address, the type and version of browser and operating system you are using, the page you requested, the page that referred you, the approximate geographic region derived from your IP address, and the date and time of the request. This information is used to keep the site running, diagnose faults, measure audience size and detect abuse.

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. Cookies allow a site to remember things between page loads and allow third parties to recognize a browser across visits. This site uses cookies and comparable technologies such as local storage and tracking pixels in the following ways.

  • Strictly necessary cookies. WordPress sets cookies when you log in or leave a comment, and our caching layer may set a cookie to serve the correct version of a page. The site cannot function properly without these.
  • Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which articles they read, and how they arrived. These cookies help us decide what to write next.
  • Advertising cookies. We do not currently show display advertising, so no advertisement is served to you here. A Google tag linked to a Google Ads account is loaded on this site and may set or read Google advertising cookies in your browser.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Every major browser lets you block cookies entirely, block third-party cookies only, or delete existing cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working; blocking analytics or advertising cookies will not affect your ability to read anything here.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to collect aggregated statistics about site usage. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes information including your IP address, though we have IP anonymization enabled where the platform supports it. The resulting reports tell us things like how many people read a given review and which devices they used; they do not tell us who you are. Google processes this data on its own infrastructure and under its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data entirely by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Advertising and ad personalisation

This site does not currently carry display advertising, and we do not currently use Google AdSense or any other advertising network to show advertisements to you. A Google tag linked to a Google Ads account is currently loaded on this site; it does not place advertisements on these pages, but it can set or read Google advertising cookies in your browser.

Because no advertisements are served here, you are not shown personalised or interest-based advertising on this site. Where Google advertising cookies are set by the Google tag described above, you can control advertising personalisation in your Google account settings.

No third-party advertising vendor or advertising network other than Google currently serves advertisements on this site.

If display advertising is introduced in future, we will update this section before or when that happens to describe the advertising cookies involved and the opt-out routes then available.

Affiliate links

This site does not currently use affiliate links. No link here is currently an affiliate or commission-bearing link, and no affiliate or commission-tracking cookie is currently set as a result of clicking a link on this site. Our editorial judgment is not influenced by commercial arrangements; see our Terms of Service and Disclaimer for the full statement.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers that make the site work: our web host, which processes server logs; Google, for analytics; our email provider, for handling contact-form messages; and our spam-filtering service, which inspects comment submissions. Each of these acts under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.

How long we keep information

Contact-form messages are retained for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely unless you ask us to remove them. Server logs are rotated by our host on its standard schedule. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent you previously gave. Readers in California have specific rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of its sale or sharing; we do not sell personal information as those laws define the term. Readers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have corresponding rights under the GDPR.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us through the contact page. We will respond within the timeframe required by the applicable law. Note that requests relating to data held by Google or by advertising vendors may need to be directed to those companies, since we do not hold that data ourselves.

Children

This site is intended for adults making decisions about household services. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and our server is encrypted. We keep WordPress and its components maintained and restrict administrative access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

External links

Articles on this site link to provider websites, regulatory resources and other third-party pages. Once you follow such a link you are subject to that site’s privacy policy, not ours. We have no control over the content or practices of external sites.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change or when the law requires it, and we will revise the date at the top. Material changes will be noted clearly rather than slipped in silently. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.

Questions about this policy, or requests concerning your personal information, can be sent through our contact page or by email to contact@internetdealshelp.com.
